Flagship project – Atrato River:
Application of a community‑driven bioeconomic development plan that uses ancestral knowledge, circular‑economy innovation, and digital skills to recover strategic environmental areas of the Atrato River in Murindó, Antioquia.
The Atrato River, in the heart of the Chocó forest, the second South American forest in size, is Subject of Rigths for the Colombian Law due to pollution.
The Colombian government demands solutions, integrating communities.
Young people are trained to document environmental change, co‑design circular‑economy solutions (waste transformation, eco‑products), and create digital narratives that give visibility to the process. Their content and data feed into project monitoring, help attract allies (public, private, and social), and open paths to future opportunities such as sustainable tourism or green entrepreneurship.
This model can be strengthened with advanced impact and economic analysis to attract investment, climate finance, and long‑term partnerships.
